I grew up in the Midwest (Ohio), have an undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University, and a M.S. degree from Penn State University. I have taught at two other colleges, Marietta College (Ohio) and University of Wisconsin-Parkside. In my spare time I enjoy yoga, off-road biking, and reading.

UNT Position: 

Associate Professor in Kinesiology, Kinesiology Graduate Program Coordinator, and Assistant Department Chair and for Kinesiology Health Promotion & Recreation

Teaching Areas: 

Motor Behavior, Motor Development, Aging and Movement Control

Research Interests:

Aging and movement control, posture and balance mechanisms in aging, and developmental aspects of children's motor skill performance
