Dr. Tandra Tyler-Wood is an associate professor in
the Department of Technology and Cognition at the University of North
Texas. Dr. Tyler-Wood has a BA in Special Education and a BS in
Psychology from Converse College in Spartanburg, S.C., an M.Ed. and
Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill.

Her research interests include assessing and
determining appropriate curriculum for special needs populations. Dr.
Tyler-Wood is currently the principal investigator for Bringing Up Girls
in Science, a research project funded by the National Science
Foundation.
